okhttp-coroutines/README.md
OkHttp Coroutines ================= Support for Kotlin clients using coroutines. ```kotlin val call = client.newCall(request) call.executeAsync().use { response -> withContext(Dispatchers.IO) { println(response.body?.string()) } } ``` This is implemented using `suspendCancellableCoroutine` but uses the standard Dispatcher in OkHttp. This means that by default Kotlin's Dispatchers are not used.

_2019-09-29_ * Fix: Cancel calls that fail due to unexpected exceptions. We had a bug where an enqueued call would never call back if it crashed with an unchecked throwable, such as a `NullPointerException` or `OutOfMemoryError`. We now call `Callback.onFailure()` with an `IOException` that reports the call as canceled. The triggering exception is still delivered to the thread's `UncaughtExceptionHandler`.Created: Fri Dec 26 11:42:13 GMT 2025 - Last Modified: Sun Feb 06 14:55:54 GMT 2022 - 50.8K bytes - Click Count (0) -
