## Add `Query` to `Annotated` in the `q` parameter

Now that we have this `Annotated` where we can put more information (in this case some additional validation), add `Query` inside of `Annotated`, and set the parameter `max_length` to `50`:

# Extending OpenAPI

There are some cases where you might need to modify the generated OpenAPI schema.

In this section you will see how.

## The normal process

The normal (default) process, is as follows.

A `FastAPI` application (instance) has an `.openapi()` method that is expected to return the OpenAPI schema.

and test another isolated pipeline from any branch.

(we highly recommend to name this branch without prefix and hyphen (`-`) because it's used to generate build type ID) and want to
