## Architecture overview

### Platform architecture

Gradle is arranged into several coarse-grained components called "platforms".
Each platform provides support for some kind of automation, such as building JVM software or building Gradle plugins.
Platforms typically extend the features of other platforms to add this support.

Calls are executed in one of two ways:

 * **Synchronous:** your thread blocks until the response is readable.
 * **Asynchronous:** you enqueue the request on any thread, and get [called back](https://square.github.io/okhttp/5.x/okhttp/okhttp3/-callback/) on another thread when the response is readable.

## Datenklassen in verschachtelten Datenstrukturen { #dataclasses-in-nested-data-structures }

- *MINIO_NTP_SERVER* environment variable can be set to remote NTP server endpoint if system time is not desired for setting retention dates.
