### SIG API Machinery

- The OwnerReferencesPermissionEnforcement admission plugin now checks authorization for the correct scope (namespaced or cluster-scoped) of the owner resource type. **FastAPI** is not actually an alternative to **Requests**. Their scope is very different.

It would actually be common to use Requests *inside* of a FastAPI application.

But still, FastAPI got quite some inspiration from Requests.

- If `ComponentSLIs` feature gate is enabled, then `/metrics/slis` now becomes available on cloud-controller-manager allowing you to scrape health check metrics. ([#113340](https://github.com/kubernetes/kubernetes/pull/113340), [@Richabanke...

- New flag is introduced, i.e. --topology-manager-scope=container|pod.
