## Issue management

We use GitHub to track all of our bugs and feature requests. Each issue we track has a variety of metadata:

- **Epic**. An epic represents a feature area for Istio as a whole. Epics are fairly broad in scope and are basically product-level things.

are skipped, and any checks implemented inside the shape inference code are not
executed.

The security impact of skipping those checks should be low, since the attack
scenario would require a malicious user to be able to control the model which as
stated above is already equivalent to code execution. In any case, the
recommendation is not to serve models using Eager mode since it also has

## Decision

The *Build Tool Team* has decided to use Architectural Decision Records (aka ADR) to track decisions we want to follow.

The main logic with ADRs is to describe (architectural) decisions made:

* To provide best practices and solutions we (as the *build tool* team) want to promote.

     * creator of the problem, the general expectation is that the hint provides sufficient information to the user to
     * track the problem back to its origin. A concrete example for such a source hint can be the file path or URL from
     * which the settings were read.
