docs/en/docs/tutorial/path-params-numeric-validations.md
And you don't need to declare anything else for that parameter, so you don't really need to use `Query`. But you still need to use `Path` for the `item_id` path parameter. And you don't want to use `Annotated` for some reason. Python will complain if you put a value with a "default" before a value that doesn't have a "default". But you can re-order them, and have the value without a default (the query parameter `q`) first.

If you have an older version, you would get errors when trying to use `Annotated`. Make sure you [Upgrade the FastAPI version](../deployment/versions.md#upgrading-the-fastapi-versions){.internal-link target=_blank} to at least 0.95.1 before using `Annotated`. ## Use `Annotated` in the type for the `q` parameter

docs/en/docs/how-to/sql-databases-peewee.md
If you are starting a project from scratch, you are probably better off with SQLAlchemy ORM ([SQL (Relational) Databases](../tutorial/sql-databases.md){.internal-link target=_blank}), or any other async ORM. If you already have a code base that uses <a href="https://docs.peewee-orm.com/en/latest/" class="external-link" target="_blank">Peewee ORM</a>, you can check here how to use it with **FastAPI**.

docs/en/docs/tutorial/dependencies/dependencies-with-yield.md
## Dependencies with `yield` and `HTTPException` You saw that you can use dependencies with `yield` and have `try` blocks that catch exceptions. The same way, you could raise an `HTTPException` or similar in the exit code, after the `yield`. !!! tip
