# Configure Swagger UI { #configure-swagger-ui }

You can configure some extra <a href="https://swagger.io/docs/open-source-tools/swagger-ui/usage/configuration/" class="external-link" target="_blank">Swagger UI parameters</a>.

To configure them, pass the `swagger_ui_parameters` argument when creating the `FastAPI()` app object or to the `get_swagger_ui_html()` function.

`swagger_ui_parameters` receives a dictionary with the configurations passed to Swagger UI directly.

    * Pydantic also allows representing it as a "ISO 8601 time diff encoding", <a href="https://docs.pydantic.dev/latest/concepts/serialization/#custom-serializers" class="external-link" target="_blank">see the docs for more info</a>.
* `frozenset`:
    * In requests and responses, treated the same as a `set`:
        * In requests, a list will be read, eliminating duplicates and converting it to a `set`.

    * Pydantic también permite representarlo como una "codificación de diferencia horaria ISO 8601", <a href="https://docs.pydantic.dev/latest/concepts/serialization/#custom-serializers" class="external-link" target="_blank">consulta la documentación para más información</a>.
* `frozenset`:
    * En requests y responses, tratado igual que un `set`:
        * En requests, se leerá una list, eliminando duplicados y convirtiéndola en un `set`.

* <a href="https://github.com/OAI/OpenAPI-Specification/blob/master/versions/3.1.0.md#responses-object" class="external-link" target="_blank">Объект Responses OpenAPI</a>, он включает `Response Object`.

# Response - Change Status Code { #response-change-status-code }

You probably read before that you can set a default [Response Status Code](../tutorial/response-status-code.md){.internal-link target=_blank}.

But in some cases you need to return a different status code than the default.

For example, imagine that you want to return an HTTP status code of "OK" `200` by default.
