* It exposes an actual Python <a href="https://docs.python.org/3/library/tempfile.html#tempfile.SpooledTemporaryFile" class="external-link" target="_blank">`SpooledTemporaryFile`</a> object that you can pass directly to other libraries that expect a file-like object.

### `UploadFile`

`UploadFile` has the following attributes:

* `filename`: A `str` with the original file name that was uploaded (e.g. `myimage.jpg`).

    And also that your code will be very compatible with many other Python tools and libraries. 🚀

## Type hints in **FastAPI**

**FastAPI** takes advantage of these type hints to do several things.

With **FastAPI** you declare parameters with type hints and you get:

## Performance

**FastAPI** est totalement compatible avec (et basé sur) <a href="https://docs.pydantic.dev/" class="external-link" target="_blank"><strong>Pydantic</strong></a>. Le code utilisant Pydantic que vous ajouterez fonctionnera donc aussi.

Inclus des librairies externes basées, aussi, sur Pydantic, servent d'<abbr title="Object-Relational Mapper">ORM</abbr>s, <abbr title="Object-Document Mapper">ODM</abbr>s pour les bases de données.

- Basé sur les type hints Python.
- Validation et documentation via ces types.
- Système d'injection de dépendances.

Il n'utilise pas une librairie tiers de validation, sérialisation et de documentation tel que Pydantic, il utilise son propre système. Ainsi, ces définitions de types de données ne sont pas réutilisables aussi facilement.
