An <i>integer</i>, <i>floating-point</i>, or <i>complex</i> type
represents the set of integer, floating-point, or complex values, respectively.
They are collectively called <i>numeric types</i>.
The predeclared architecture-independent numeric types are:

uint8       the set of all unsigned  8-bit integers (0 to 255)
uint16      the set of all unsigned 16-bit integers (0 to 65535)

*   If a namespaced resource is owned by a cluster scoped resource, and the namespaced dependent is processed before the cluster scoped owner has ever been observed by the garbage collector, the dependent will be erroneously deleted.

Additionally, a background task is normally an independent set of logic that should be handled separately, with its own resources (e.g. its own database connection).

	      * Time duration tracked was of the initial API call, not the entire operation.
