This "waiting" 🕙 is measured in microseconds, but still, summing it all, it's a lot of waiting in the end.

That's why it makes a lot of sense to use asynchronous ⏸🔀⏯ code for web APIs.

This kind of asynchronicity is what made NodeJS popular (even though NodeJS is not parallel) and that's the strength of Go as a programming language.

And that's the same level of performance you get with **FastAPI**.

Docker has been one of the main tools to create and manage **container images** and **containers**.

And there's a public <a href="https://hub.docker.com/" class="external-link" target="_blank">Docker Hub</a> with pre-made **official container images** for many tools, environments, databases, and applications.

For example, there's an official <a href="https://hub.docker.com/_/python" class="external-link" target="_blank">Python Image</a>.

It was one of the first extremely fast Python frameworks based on `asyncio`. It was made to be very similar to Flask.

    It used <a href="https://github.com/MagicStack/uvloop" class="external-link" target="_blank">`uvloop`</a> instead of the default Python `asyncio` loop. That's what made it so fast.

And we can add a list of `dependencies` that will be added to all the *path operations* in the router and will be executed/solved for each request made to them.
