# MinIO Grid

The MinIO Grid is a package that provides two-way communication between servers.
It uses a single two-way connection to send and receive messages between servers.

It includes built in muxing of concurrent requests as well as congestion handling for streams.

Requests can be "Single Payload" or "Streamed".

Use the MinIO Grid for:

* Small, frequent requests with low latency requirements.

Gradle is an international open-source project with contributors from around the world. English is the primary language for code, comments, documentation, and communication, but there are variations in English spelling and terminology, specifically American English vs. British English.

Inconsistency in spelling conventions can lead to several issues:

If the capacity is zero or absent, the channel is unbuffered and communication
succeeds only when both a sender and receiver are ready. Otherwise, the channel
is buffered and communication succeeds without blocking if the buffer
is not full (sends) or not empty (receives).
A <code>nil</code> channel is never ready for communication.

*   `RunConfig` now sets device_filters to restrict how workers and PS can
    communicate. This can speed up training and ensure clean shutdowns in some
    situations. But if you have jobs that require communication between workers,
    you will have to set custom session_options in your `RunConfig`.
