architecture/ambient/ztunnel.md
Because Ztunnel can have Istio semantics baked in, we do not need to encode all this information on the wire. Instead, an Istio specific field like `ExpectedTLSIdentity: spiffe://foo.bar` can encode the same information, at a fraction of the cost. In our testing, even the most generous representations give custom types a 10x edge (in size, allocations, and CPU time) over Envoy types.

directory in the include path; i.e. -I${SRCDIR} is always implied. This means that if a header file foo/bar.h exists both in the source directory and also in the system include directory (or some other place specified by a -I flag), then "#include <foo/bar.h>" will always find the local version in preference to any other version. The cgo tool is enabled by default for native builds on systems where

docs/vi/docs/python-types.md
In Python 3.10 there's also a **new syntax** where you can put the possible types separated by a <abbr title='also called "bitwise or operator", but that meaning is not relevant here'>vertical bar (`|`)</abbr>.
