Y la clase de error `HTTPException` de **FastAPI** hereda de la clase de error `HTTPException` de Starlette.

La única diferencia es que el `HTTPException` de **FastAPI** acepta cualquier dato JSON-able para el campo `detail`, mientras que el `HTTPException` de Starlette solo acepta strings para ello.

Así que puedes seguir lanzando un `HTTPException` de **FastAPI** como de costumbre en tu código.

Then I found that there was a standard to document APIs, using JSON (or YAML, an extension of JSON) called Swagger.

And there was a web user interface for Swagger APIs already created. So, being able to generate Swagger documentation for an API would allow using this web user interface automatically.

At some point, Swagger was given to the Linux Foundation, to be renamed OpenAPI.

This way the application would be able to know what is its own public URL, if it is using HTTPS, the domain, etc.

This would be useful for example to properly handle redirects.
