### Core automation platform

This is a general-purpose automation platform which takes care of the efficient definition and execution of work, such as tasks.
This platform is agnostic to what exactly the purpose of the work is.

* Published to official Istio Helm repository.
* Single chart for all gateways (Ingress, Egress, East West).

#### General concerns

For a smooth migration, the resource names and `Deployment.spec.selector` labels must match.

In our experience and testing, these types force us to represent data in inefficient ways because they are general purpose.
Ztunnel is not general purpose; it has an extremely tight goal.
We can exploit this to make a more efficient protocol, which is critical to achieve our resource footprint goals.

### Run Automatically on Startup

In general, you will probably want the server program (e.g. Uvicorn) to be started automatically on server startup, and without needing any **human intervention**, to have a process always running with your API (e.g. Uvicorn running your FastAPI app).

IntelliJ automatically hides stacktrace elements from the `org.gradle` package, which makes running/debugging tests more difficult. You can disable this behavior by changing IntelliJ Preferences under Editor -> General -> Console. In the "Fold lines that contain" section, remove the `org.gradle` entry.

#### Get the *enumeration value*

You can get the actual value (a `str` in this case) using `model_name.value`, or in general, `your_enum_member.value`:

    You could also access the value `"lenet"` with `ModelName.lenet.value`.

The word "**server**" is commonly used to refer to both the remote/cloud computer (the physical or virtual machine) and also the program that is running on that machine (e.g. Uvicorn).

Just keep in mind that when you read "server" in general, it could refer to one of those two things.

We will probably still want to keep it for OpenAPI in general, as that will ensure that the operation IDs are **unique**.

But for the generated client we could **modify** the OpenAPI operation IDs right before generating the clients, just to make those method names nicer and **cleaner**.
