  1. docs/en/docs/tutorial/security/get-current-user.md

You actually don't have users that log in to your application but robots, bots, or other systems, that have just an access token? Again, it all works the same.

Just use any kind of model, any kind of class, any kind of database that you need for your application. **FastAPI** has you covered with the dependency injection system.

     *
     * Implementations authenticate by returning a follow-up request that includes an authorization
     * header, or they may decline the challenge by returning null. In this case the unauthenticated
     * response will be returned to the caller that triggered it.
     *
     * Implementations should check if the initial request already included an attempt to
     * authenticate. If so it is likely that further attempts will not be useful and the authenticator

  7. docs/en/docs/tutorial/middleware.md

    # Middleware

You can add middleware to **FastAPI** applications.

A "middleware" is a function that works with every **request** before it is processed by any specific *path operation*. And also with every **response** before returning it.

    * It takes each **request** that comes to your application.
    * It can then do something to that **request** or run any needed code.

    ### Using your local FastAPI

If you create a Python file that imports and uses FastAPI, and run it with the Python from your local environment, it will use your cloned local FastAPI source code.

And if you update that local FastAPI source code when you run that Python file again, it will use the fresh version of FastAPI you just edited.

That way, you don't have to "install" your local version to be able to test every change.
