docs/compression/README.md
Write throughput is typically at least 500MB/s per CPU core, and scales with the number of available CPU cores. Decompression speed is typically at least 1GB/s. This means that in cases where raw IO is below these numbers compression will not only reduce disk usage but also help increase system throughput. Typically, enabling compression on spinning disk systems will increase speed when the content can be compressed.

### Tags with Enums If you have a big application, you might end up accumulating **several tags**, and you would want to make sure you always use the **same tag** for related *path operations*. In these cases, it could make sense to store the tags in an `Enum`. **FastAPI** supports that the same way as with plain strings: ```Python hl_lines="1 8-10 13 18" {!../../docs_src/path_operation_configuration/tutorial002b.py!} ```

architecture/ambient/ztunnel.md
However, this means anytime a workload changes (often), we need to update the policy. Instead, the opposite was chosen: each workload will list the policies that select it. This works out to be more efficient in common cases where policies change much less often than workloads. This only applies for selector-based policies; namespaced and global policies can be handled without needing to list them out in the Workload API. ## Redirection
