You can now access MinIO server on http://localhost:9000. Follow the below steps to connect to MinIO server with mc client:

### Create a bucket for Veeam backups

Create a bucket for Veeam Backup, e.g.,

mc mb myminio/veeambackup
```

> NOTE: For Veeam Backup with Immutability, create the bucket with object lock enabled, e.g.,

mc mb -l myminio/veeambackup
```

You can also connect using any S3-compatible tool, such as the MinIO Client `mc` commandline tool:
