Contributing to Apache Maven

You have found a bug or you have an idea for a cool new feature? Contributing
code is a great way to give something back to the open source community. Before
you dig right into the code, there are a few guidelines that we need

Apache Maven is a software project management and comprehension tool. Based on
the concept of a project object model (POM), Maven can manage a project's
build, reporting and documentation from a central piece of information.

 *  New: `ConnectionPool.setPolicy()` configures a minimum connection pool size for a target
    address. Use this to proactively open HTTP connections.

    Connections opened to fulfill this policy are subject to the connection pool's
    `keepAliveDuration` but do not count against the pool-wide `maxIdleConnections` limit.

Pode ser muito útil para configurar **recursos** que você precisa usar por toda aplicação, e que são **compartilhados** entre as requisições, e/ou que você precisa **limpar** depois. Por exemplo, o pool de uma conexão com o banco de dados ou carregamento de um modelo compartilhado de aprendizado de máquina (_machine learning_).
