### Virtual environment with `venv`

You can create an isolated virtual local environment in a directory using Python's `venv` module. Let's do this in the cloned repository (where the `requirements.txt` is):

That will create a directory `./env/` with the Python binaries, and then you will be able to install packages for that local environment.

## Details

The first `"/static"` refers to the sub-path this "sub-application" will be "mounted" on. So, any path that starts with `"/static"` will be handled by it.

The `directory="static"` refers to the name of the directory that contains your static files.

The `name="static"` gives it a name that can be used internally by **FastAPI**.
