Channels act as first-in-first-out queues. For example, if one goroutine sends values on a channel and a second goroutine receives them, the values are received in the order sent.

Properties of types and values

Underlying types

// Corrupt foo.txt's final crc32 byte, in both // the file header and TOC. (0x7e -> 0x7f) b[0x11]++ b[0x9d]++ // TODO(bradfitz): add a new test that only corrupts // one of these values, and verify that that's also an // error. Currently, the reader code doesn't verify the // fileheader and TOC's crc32 match if they're both // non-zero and only the second line above, the TOC, // is what matters.

id and a provisioned bundle id to use. They're specified with the environment variables GOIOS_DEV_ID, GOIOS_TEAM_ID and GOIOS_APP_ID. The detect.go program in this directory will attempt to auto-detect suitable values. Run it as go run detect.go which will output something similar to export GOIOS_DEV_ID="iPhone Developer: ******@****.*** (XXXXXXXX)" export GOIOS_APP_ID=YYYYYYYY.some.bundle.id export GOIOS_TEAM_ID=ZZZZZZZZ

doc/next/6-stdlib/1-time.md
Second, the timer channel associated with a `Timer` or `Ticker` is now unbuffered, with capacity 0. The main effect of this change is that Go now guarantees that for any call to a `Reset` or `Stop` method, no stale values prepared before that call will be sent or received after the call. Earlier versions of Go used channels with a one-element buffer, making it difficult to use `Reset` and `Stop` correctly.
