There is no plan to remove any of these settings. ### Go 1.19 Go 1.19 made it an error for path lookups to resolve to binaries in the current directory, controlled by the [`execerrdot` setting](/pkg/os/exec#hdr-Executables_in_the_current_directory). There is no plan to remove this setting. ### Go 1.18 Go 1.18 removed support for SHA1 in most X.509 certificates,

The same requirement applies to next/* (described below), which will become a go1.XX.txt for XX >= 19. The next/ directory contains the only files intended to be mutated. Each file in that directory contains a list of features that may be added to the next release of Go. The files in this directory only affect the warning output from the go api tool. Each file should be named nnnnn.txt, after the issue number for the accepted proposal.

To see what instructions are defined for a given machine, say ARM, look in the source for the
obj
support library for that architecture, located in the directory
src/cmd/internal/obj/arm
. In that directory is a file
a.out.go
; it contains a long list of constants starting with
A
, like this:

const ( AAND = obj.ABaseARM + obj.A_ARCHSPECIFIC + iota

## For developers Release notes should be added to `next` by editing existing files or creating new files. **Do not add RELNOTE=yes comments in CLs.** Instead, add a file to the CL (or ask the author to do so). At the end of the development cycle, the files will be merged by being concatenated in sorted order by pathname. Files in the directory matching the
