## Developing

If you already cloned the <a href="https://github.com/tiangolo/fastapi" class="external-link" target="_blank">fastapi repository</a> and you want to deep dive in the code, here are some guidelines to set up your environment.

### Virtual environment with `venv`

     * environments and only to carry test data.

     * The server’s TLS certificate **does not need to be signed** by a trusted certificate
     * authority. Instead, it will trust any well-formed certificate, even if it is self-signed.
