Maven Compat

 Maven2 classes maintained as compatibility layer for plugins that need to keep Maven2 compatibility.

 Plugins should avoid these classes and be updated to use only Maven3 dependencies (and require Maven3): see

   * in a {@code RuntimeException}. <b>Note:</b> Be sure to declare all of the checked exception

   * to ensure the compiler knows that it will throw.

in active-active replication, the replication configuration for replica metadata sync, delete marker replication and delete replication should match to avoid inconsistent picture between the clusters.
