docs/en/docs/advanced/response-directly.md
If you declare a [Response Model](../tutorial/response-model.md) FastAPI will use it to serialize the data to JSON, using Pydantic. If you don't declare a response model, FastAPI will use the `jsonable_encoder` explained in [JSON Compatible Encoder](../tutorial/encoder.md) and put it in a `JSONResponse`. You could also create a `JSONResponse` directly and return it. /// tip

// // An AWS S3 ETag is 16 bytes long and, in case of a multipart // upload, has a `-N` suffix encoding the number of object parts. // An ETag is not AWS S3 compatible when encrypted. When sending // an ETag back to an S3 client it has to be formatted to be // AWS S3 compatible. // // Therefore, Format returns the last 16 bytes of an encrypted // ETag. // // In general, a caller has to distinguish the following cases:

docs/kms/IAM.md
Yes, MinIO will try to transparently migrate any existing IAM data and either stores it in plaintext (no KMS) or re-encrypts using the KMS. > Is this change backward compatible? Will it break my setup? This change is not backward compatible for all setups. In particular, the native Hashicorp Vault integration - which has been deprecated already - won't be supported anymore. KES is now mandatory if a third-party KMS should be used.

# `HTTPConnection` class When you want to define dependencies that should be compatible with both HTTP and WebSockets, you can define a parameter that takes an `HTTPConnection` instead of a `Request` or a `WebSocket`. You can import it from `fastapi.requests`: ```python from fastapi.requests import HTTPConnection ```
