docs/sts/assume-role.md
- To be able to reliably use S3 multipart APIs feature of the SDKs without re-inventing the wheel of pre-signing the each URL in multipart API. This is very tedious to implement with all the scenarios of fault tolerance that's already implemented by the client SDK. The general client SDKs don't support multipart with presigned URLs.

* those sublists might implement a private {@code MySubList} type but serialize as a plain {@code * MyList} to save space. So long as {@code MyList} has all the public supertypes of {@code * MySubList}, this is safe. guava-tests/test/com/google/common/collect/LockHeldAssertingSet.java
* Similarly, we avoid having those methods *implemented* in terms of *other* TestSet methods * that will perform holdsLock assertions: * * - For iterator(), we can accomplish that by not overriding iterator() at all. That way, we * inherit an implementation that forwards to the delegate collection, which performs no * holdsLock assertions. *
