Contributing to Apache Maven
======================

You have found a bug or you have an idea for a cool new feature? Contributing
code is a great way to give something back to the open source community. Before
you dig right into the code, there are a few guidelines that we need
contributors to follow so that we can have a chance of keeping on top of
things.

Some of the ideas are documented in the [Maven Wiki][maven-wiki]

If you run **multiple processes per container** you will have to make sure that the number of processes started doesn't **consume more memory** than what is available.

If you are using containers (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes), then there are two main approaches you can use.

Without a data validation system, you would have to do all the checks by hand, in code.

These features are what Marshmallow was built to provide. It is a great library, and I have used it a lot before.

But it was created before there existed Python type hints. So, to define every <dfn title="the definition of how data should be formed">schema</dfn> you need to use specific utils and classes provided by Marshmallow.
