The number of operands on the left hand side must match the number of values. For instance, if <code>f</code> is a function returning two values, </p> <pre> x, y = f() </pre> <p> assigns the first value to <code>x</code> and the second to <code>y</code>. In the second form, the number of operands on the left must equal the number

An error on not-int-const:1 indicates that foo is not an integer constant. An error on not-num-const:1 indicates that foo is not a number constant. An error on not-str-lit:1 indicates that foo is not a string literal. An error on not-signed-int-const:1 indicates that foo is not a signed integer constant. The line number specifies the name involved. In the example, 1 is foo. Next, cgo must learn the details of each type, variable, function, or

api/README
except.txt lists features that may disappear without breaking true compatibility. Starting with go1.19.txt, each API feature line must end in "#nnnnn" giving the GitHub issue number of the proposal issue that accepted the new API. This helps with our end-of-cycle audit of new APIs. The same requirement applies to next/* (described below), which will become a go1.XX.txt for XX >= 19.
