# Release Notes

The `initial` and `next` subdirectories of this directory are for release notes.

## For developers

Release notes should be added to `next` by editing existing files or creating
new files. **Do not add RELNOTE=yes comments in CLs.** Instead, add a file to
the CL (or ask the author to do so).

At the end of the development cycle, the files will be merged by being
concatenated in sorted order by pathname. Files in the directory matching the

Note: This rule has an implicit zero NoncurrentDays, which makes the expiry of those 'extra' noncurrent versions immediate.

- if deployed by manifest, add env `FELIX_WORKLOADSOURCESPOOFING` with value `Any` in `spec.template.spec.containers.env` for daemonset `calico-node`. (This will allow PODs with specified annotation to skip the rpf check. )

### GKE notes

On GKE, 'kube-system' is required.

If using `helm template`, `--set cni.cniBinDir=/home/kubernetes/bin` is required - with `helm install`

### Upgrade Checklist

- Test all upgrades in a lower environment (DEV, QA, UAT) before applying to production. Performing blind upgrades in production environments carries significant risk.

> The KES instance at `https://play.min.io:7373` is meant to experiment and provides a way to get started quickly.
> Note that anyone can access or delete master keys at `https://play.min.io:7373`. You should run your own KES
> instance in production.

## Configuration Guides

A typical MinIO deployment that uses a KMS for SSE-S3 looks like this:

Requirements
------------

MockWebServer's JUnit 5 integration works on Android 7.0+ (API level 24+) and Java 8+. Note that

This allows the same configurations and lifecycle to apply to gateways as sidecars.

Note: this does mean that the namespace the gateway is deployed in must not have the `istio-injection=disabled` label.
