CONTRIBUTING.md
After making changes, you can test your code in 2 ways: 1. Run tests. - Run `./gradlew :<subproject>:quickTest` where `<subproject>` is the name of the subproject you've changed. - For example: `./gradlew :launcher:quickTest`. 2. Install Gradle locally and try out a change in behavior manually. - Install: `./gradlew install -Pgradle_installPath=/any/path` - Use: `/any/path/bin/gradle taskName`.

doc/go_spec.html
<p> Package initialization—variable initialization and the invocation of <code>init</code> functions—happens in a single goroutine, sequentially, one package at a time. An <code>init</code> function may launch other goroutines, which can run concurrently with the initialization code. However, initialization always sequences the <code>init</code> functions: it will not invoke the next one until the previous one has returned.
