For the most part this is fairly straight forward. However, we support `ServiceEntry` selecting `Pod`, and `Service` selecting `WorkloadEntry`, which leads to cross-controller communication.

This component accomplishes that in the following ways:

1. By installing a separate, very basic "CNI plugin" binary onto the node to forward low-level pod lifecycle events (CmdAdd/CmdDel/etc) from whatever node-level CNI subsystem is in use to this node agent for processing via socket.
1. By running as a node-level daemonset that:

            backwards. See PR

        *   `tf.image.crop_and_resize` gradient w.r.t. either `image` or
            `boxes`. See PR

### API Change

images. The old registry (`k8s.gcr.io`) will continue to be supported for the foreseeable future, but the new name should perform better because it frontends equivalent mirrors in other clouds.  Please point your clusters to the new registry going forward. \n\nAdmission/Policy integrations that have an allowlist of registries need to include `registry.k8s.io` alongside `k8s.gcr.io`.\nAir-gapped environments and image garbage-collection configurations will need to update to pre-pull and preserve required...

In the end, [after evaluation](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1c2123cKuYsBDpIon9FFdctWTUIMFweSjgwG7r8l3818/edit), the decision was to move forward with a Rust implementation.
This offered performance benefits that were too large to leave on the table, as well as opportunities to tune to our specific needs.
