now returns 0 instead of 1, which may affect programs that poll the length to decide whether a receive on the timer channel will succeed. Such code should use a non-blocking receive instead. These new behaviors are only enabled when the main Go program is in a module with a `go.mod` `go` line using Go 1.23.0 or later. When Go 1.23 builds older programs, the old behaviors remain in effect.

If the capacity is zero or absent, the channel is unbuffered and communication succeeds only when both a sender and receiver are ready. Otherwise, the channel is buffered and communication succeeds without blocking if the buffer is not full (sends) or not empty (receives). A <code>nil</code> channel is never ready for communication. </p> <p> A channel may be closed with the built-in function

the memory occupied by the field, not the entire struct. When passing a pointer to an element in an array or slice, the Go memory in question is the entire array or the entire backing array of the slice. C code may keep a copy of a Go pointer only as long as the memory it points to is pinned. C code may not keep a copy of a Go pointer after the call returns,
