doc/godebug.md
[runtime/metrics](/pkg/runtime/metrics/) counter named `/godebug/non-default-behavior/<name>:events` that counts the number of times a particular program's behavior has changed based on a non-default value for that setting. For example, when `GODEBUG=http2client=0` is set, `/godebug/non-default-behavior/http2client:events` counts the number of HTTP transports that the program has configured without HTTP/2 support.

CONTRIBUTING.md
If you are unsure whether you have found a bug, please consider asking in the [golang-nuts mailing list](https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/golang-nuts) or [other forums](https://golang.org/help/) first. If the behavior you are seeing is confirmed as a bug or issue, it can easily be re-raised in the issue tracker. ## Filing issues Sensitive security-related issues should be reported to [******@****.***](mailto:******@****.***).

// the token is the last token. // // The value is useful to stop processing early or when it is necessary to // deliver a final empty token (which is different from a nil token). // One could achieve the same behavior with a custom error value but // providing one here is tidier. // See the emptyFinalToken example for a use of this value. var ErrFinalToken = errors.New("final token")

src/cmd/cgo/doc.go
"C? Go? Cgo!" for an introduction to using cgo: https://golang.org/doc/articles/c_go_cgo.html. CFLAGS, CPPFLAGS, CXXFLAGS, FFLAGS and LDFLAGS may be defined with pseudo #cgo directives within these comments to tweak the behavior of the C, C++ or Fortran compiler. Values defined in multiple directives are concatenated together. The directive can include a list of build constraints limiting its effect to systems satisfying one of the constraints

which was a source of many inconsistencies and bugs. This behavior is controlled by the `winsymlink` setting. For Go 1.23, it defaults to `winsymlink=1`. Previous versions default to `winsymlink=0`. On Windows, [EvalSymlinks] no longer tries to normalize volumes to drive letters, which was not always even possible. This behavior is controlled by the `winreadlinkvolume` setting.

</li> </ul> <p> A comparison of two interface values with identical dynamic types causes a <a href="#Run_time_panics">run-time panic</a> if values of that type are not comparable. This behavior applies not only to direct interface value comparisons but also when comparing arrays of interface values or structs with interface-valued fields. </p> <p> Slice, map, and function values are not comparable.
