### OpenStack

- The `openstack-heat` provider for `kube-up` is deprecated and will be removed
  in a future release. Refer to Issue [#49213](https://github.com/kubernetes/kubernetes/issues/49213)
  for background information.

### Scheduling

  - Opaque Integer Resources (OIRs) are deprecated and will be removed in

[soft-reserve a range for static IP address assignments](https://kubernetes.io/docs/concepts/services-networking/service/#service-ip-static-sub-range)
to Services.
With the manual enablement of this feature, the cluster will prefer automatic assignment from
the pool of Service IP addresses thereby reducing the risk of collision.

A Service `ClusterIP` can be assigned:

- The deprecated `SecurityContextDeny` admission plugin, which has been deprecated since `v1.27`, has been removed. It is recommended to use the Pod Security Admission plugin instead, which has been available since v1.25. Refer to the [Kubernetes documentation](https://kubernetes.io/docs/reference/access-authn-authz/admission-controllers/#securitycontextdeny) for more information.

- Added a `--topology-manager-policy-options` flag to the kubelet to support fine tuning the topology manager policies. The first policy option, `prefer-closest-numa-nodes`, allows these policies to favor sets of NUMA nodes with shorter distance between nodes when making admission decisions.
