It is equivalent to `set(["name", "description"])`. /// #### Using `list`s instead of `set`s { #using-lists-instead-of-sets } If you forget to use a `set` and use a `list` or `tuple` instead, FastAPI will still convert it to a `set` and it will work correctly: {* ../../docs_src/response_model/tutorial006_py310.py hl[29,35] *} ## Recap { #recap }

And it generates OpenAPI schemas. That's how it works in Flask, Starlette, Responder, etc. But then, we have again the problem of having a micro-syntax, inside of a Python string (a big YAML).

architecture/standards/0003-avoid-introducing-Groovy-types-to-public-api.md
Historically, Gradle has shipped with some Groovy types in very prominent APIs. This required the Kotlin DSL to add special integration to work with Groovy closures. This has also forced plugins written in languages other than Groovy to use Groovy types for some APIs. When the Kotlin DSL was introduced, we made an effort to add non-Groovy equivalents for all APIs.
