# Strict Content-Type Checking { #strict-content-type-checking }

By default, **FastAPI** uses strict `Content-Type` header checking for JSON request bodies, this means that JSON requests **must** include a valid `Content-Type` header (e.g. `application/json`) in order for the body to be parsed as JSON.

## CSRF Risk { #csrf-risk }

This default behavior provides protection against a class of **Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF)** attacks in a very specific scenario.

* Pod priority and preemption is now enabled by default. Even if you don't plan to use this feature, you might need to take some action immediately after upgrading. In multi-tenant clusters where not all users are trusted, you are advised to create appropriate quotas for two default priority classes, system-cluster-critical and system-node-critical, which are added to clusters by default. `ResourceQuota` should be created to limit users from creating Pods at these priorities...

        *   For older CPUs, oneDNN optimizations are disabled by default.
    *   **Windows x86 package:** oneDNN optimizations are disabled by default.
    *   **Linux aach64 (`--config=mkl_aarch64`) package:**
        *   Experimental oneDNN optimizations are disabled by default.
        *   If you experience issues with oneDNN optimizations on, we recommend
            turning them off.
