- Fixed an issue that allowed Custom Resources to be created using Server-Side Apply even when their `CustomResourceDefinition` was terminating. ([#132467](https://github.com/kubernetes/kubernetes/pull/132467), [@sdowell](https://github.com/sdowell))

- Fixes an issue where the vsphere cloud provider will not trust a certificate if:
  - The issuer of the certificate is unknown (x509.UnknownAuthorityError)
  - The requested name does not match the set of authorized names (x509.HostnameError)

These issues are more complex and might be challenging for first-time contributors.
