**FastAPI** ではパラメータの追加情報とバリデーションを宣言することができます。

以下のアプリケーションを例にしてみましょう:

クエリパラメータ `q` は `str | None` 型で、`str` 型ですが `None` にもなり得ることを意味し、実際にデフォルト値は `None` なので、FastAPIはそれが必須ではないと理解します。
