## Run the code { #run-the-code }

## Install `PyJWT` { #install-pyjwt }

We need to install `PyJWT` to generate and verify the JWT tokens in Python.

Make sure you create a [virtual environment](../../virtual-environments.md), activate it, and then install `pyjwt`:
