If you have traditional spinning (hdd) drives, some applications with high concurrency might require MinIO cluster to be tuned such that to avoid random I/O on the drives. The way to convert high concurrent I/O into a sequential I/O is by reducing the number of concurrent operations allowed per cluster. This allows MinIO cluster to be operationally resilient to such workloads, while also making sure the drives are at optimal efficiency and responsive.

// +optional optional PodsMetricSource pods = 3; // resource refers to a resource metric (such as those specified in // requests and limits) known to Kubernetes describing each pod in the // current scale target (e.g. CPU or memory). Such metrics are built in to // Kubernetes, and have special scaling options on top of those available // to normal per-pod metrics using the "pods" source.

CHANGELOG/CHANGELOG-1.27.md
- Fixes a race condition in the iptables mode of kube-proxy in 1.27 and later that could result in some updates getting lost (e.g., when a service gets a new endpoint, the rules for the new endpoint might not be added until much later). ([#122815](https://github.com/kubernetes/kubernetes/pull/122815), [@wedaly](https://github.com/wedaly)) [SIG Network]
