## Use the model { #use-the-model }

Inside of the function, you can access all the attributes of the model object directly:

## Request body + path parameters { #request-body-path-parameters }

You can declare path parameters and request body at the same time.

That defines the metadata about the main response of a *path operation*.

You can also declare additional responses with their models, status codes, etc.

# Status Codes

You can import the `status` module from `fastapi`:

```

`status` is provided directly by Starlette.

It contains a group of named constants (variables) with integer status codes.

For example:

* 200: `status.HTTP_200_OK`
* 403: `status.HTTP_403_FORBIDDEN`
* etc.

When you need `lifespan` to run in your tests, you can use the `TestClient` with a `with` statement:
