CHANGELOG/CHANGELOG-1.28.md
- Sometimes, the scheduler incorrectly placed a pod in the "unschedulable" queue instead of the "backoff" queue. This happened when some plugin previously declared the pod as "unschedulable" and then in a later attempt encounters some other error. Scheduling of that pod then got delayed by up to five minutes, after which periodic flushing moved the pod back into the "active" queue. ([#120334](https://github.com/kubernetes/kubernetes/pull/120334),...

or force deletion of the pod from the api-server). This helps prevent "split brain" scenarios in clustered applications by ensuring that unreachable pods will not be presumed dead unless some "fencing" operation has provided one of the above indications. * For all other existing controllers except StatefulSet, this has no effect on the ability of the controller to replace pods because the controllers do notRegistered: Fri Dec 26 09:05:12 UTC 2025 - Last Modified: Thu Dec 24 02:28:26 UTC 2020 - 136.4K bytes - Viewed (0) -
