Working Group graduated three features to beta in the 1.10 release. [SIG API Machinery][] is responsible for all aspects of the API server: API registration and discovery, generic API CRUD semantics, admission control, encoding/decoding, conversion, defaulting, persistence layer (etcd), OpenAPI, third-party resources, garbage collection, and client libraries.

During the 1.13 release cycle, SIG Big Data has been focused on community engagements relating to 3rd-party project integrations with Kubernetes. There have been no impacts on the 1.13 release.
