Only a single connection is ever made between two servers.
Likely this means that this connection will not be able to saturate network bandwidth.

**FastAPI** will do the automatic conversion from the request, so that the parameter `item` receives its specific content and the same for `user`.

That will download a compressed file with the FastAPI code, normally from <a href="https://pypi.org/project/fastapi/" class="external-link" target="_blank">PyPI</a>.

It will also **download** files for other packages that FastAPI depends on.

Then it will **extract** all those files and put them in a directory in your computer.

### Server Memory { #server-memory }

For example, if your code loads a Machine Learning model with **1 GB in size**, when you run one process with your API, it will consume at least 1 GB of RAM. And if you start **4 processes** (4 workers), each will consume 1 GB of RAM. So in total, your API will consume **4 GB of RAM**.

        * In requests, a list will be read, eliminating duplicates and converting it to a `set`.
        * In responses, the `set` will be converted to a `list`.
        * The generated schema will specify that the `set` values are unique (using JSON Schema's `uniqueItems`).
* `bytes`:
    * Standard Python `bytes`.
    * In requests and responses will be treated as `str`.

## Decision

1. The Gradle distribution will never include a Java runtime.
   Instead, Gradle will leverage Java toolchains for the Daemon and worker processes.
2. The Gradle Daemon, Worker processes, and Tooling API client will continue to support running on different Java versions during a single Gradle invocation.
   The exact versions supported will be determined by the Gradle version.
