    ### Feature

    - A new histogram metric to track the time it took to delete a job by the ttl-after-finished controller ([#98676](https://github.com/kubernetes/kubernetes/pull/98676), [@ahg-g](https://github.com/ahg-g)) [SIG Apps and Instrumentation]

  2. CHANGELOG/CHANGELOG-1.31.md

    - Finished initial generic controlplane refactor of kube-apiserver, providing a sample binary building a Kubernetes-like control plane, but without container orchestration resources. ([#124530](https://github.com/kubernetes/kubernetes/pull/124530), [@sttts...

  4. docs/en/docs/advanced/custom-response.md

    1. This is the generator function. It's a "generator function" because it contains `yield` statements inside.
    2. By using a `with` block, we make sure that the file-like object is closed after the generator function is done. So, after it finishes sending the response.
    3. This `yield from` tells the function to iterate over that thing named `file_like`. And then, for each part iterated, yield that part as coming from this generator function (`iterfile`).

    //
    // If async execution is enabled, the call may simply enqueue the execution
    // and return "non-ready" handles in `retvals`. Note that any handles contained
    // in 'op' should not be mutated till the kernel execution actually finishes.
    //
    // For sync execution, if any of the inputs to `op` are not ready, this call
    // will block till they become ready and then return when the kernel execution
    // is done.

  9. RELEASE.md

        * Add `wait` to `tf.data.Dataset.load`. If `True`, for snapshots written with `distributed_save`, it reads the snapshot while it is being written. For snapshots written with regular `save`, it waits for the snapshot until it's finished. The default is `False` for backward compatibility. Users of `distributed_save` are recommended to set it to `True`.
