## 1. Prerequisites

- Familiarity with [chroot](http://man7.org/linux/man-pages/man2/chroot.2.html)
- Chroot installed on your machine.

## 2. Install MinIO in Chroot

> **Note:** MinIO community edition is now distributed as source code only. Pre-compiled binaries are no longer provided for new releases.

Build MinIO from source and install it in the chroot directory:

Up to now, you have been using common data types, like:

* `int`
* `float`
* `str`
* `bool`

But you can also use more complex data types.

And you will still have the same features as seen up to now:

## When decommission is 'Complete'

Once decommission is complete, it will be indicated with *Complete* status.  *Complete* means that now you can now safely remove the first pool argument from the MinIO command line.

You can now access MinIO server on http://localhost:9000. Follow the below steps to connect to MinIO server with mc client:

## FastAPI Responses

There were a couple of custom FastAPI response classes that were intended to optimize JSON performance.

However, they are now deprecated as you will now get better performance by using a [Response Model - Return Type](https://fastapi.tiangolo.com/tutorial/response-model/).
