SIG Storage made a lot of progress in the 1.18 release.
In particular, the following storage features are moving to GA in Kubernetes 1.18:

- `RetroactiveDefaultStorageClass` feature made stable and enabled by default. ([#118102](https://github.com/kubernetes/kubernetes/pull/118102), [@RomanBednar](https://github.com/RomanBednar))

As far as platforms, working with SIG-Windows, enhancements were made to the kubelet to improve platform support on Windows operating systems, and improvements to resource management were also made.  In particular, support for sysctls on Linux graduated to beta.

For the 1.13 release, SIG API Machinery is happy to announce that the [dry-run functionality](https://kubernetes.io/docs/reference/using-api/api-concepts/#dry-run) is now beta.
