docs/en/docs/advanced/testing-dependencies.md
An example could be that you have an external authentication provider that you need to call. You send it a token and it returns an authenticated user. This provider might be charging you per request, and calling it might take some extra time than if you had a fixed mock user for tests. You probably want to test the external provider once, but not necessarily call it for every test that runs.

--- name: Bug report about: A reproducible problem title: '' labels: bug assignees: '' --- Good bug reports include a failing test! Writing a test helps you to isolate and describe the problem, and it helps us to fix it fast. Bug reports without a failing test or reproduction steps are likely to be closed. Here’s an example test to get you started.

CONTRIBUTING.md
--------------- + Make sure you have a [GitHub account](https://github.com/signup/free). + If you're planning to implement a new feature, it makes sense to discuss your changes on the [dev list](https://maven.apache.org/mailing-lists.html) first. This way you can make sure you're not wasting your time on something that isn't considered to be in Apache Maven's scope. + Submit a ticket for your issue, assuming one does not already exist.
