## JavaScript-only settings { #javascript-only-settings }

Swagger UI also allows other configurations to be **JavaScript-only** objects (for example, JavaScript functions).

FastAPI also includes these JavaScript-only `presets` settings:

If CC_FOR_TARGET is not set when the toolchain is built (make.bash or all.bash), CC
can be set on the command line. For example,

Setting CC is not necessary if the toolchain is built with CC_FOR_TARGET set.

To use the go tool to run individual programs and tests, put $GOROOT/bin into PATH to ensure

If you need to support clients that don't send a `Content-Type` header, you can disable strict checking by setting `strict_content_type=False`:

With this setting, requests without a `Content-Type` header will have their body parsed as JSON, which is the same behavior as older versions of FastAPI.
