- ACTION REQUIRED : In CoreDNS v1.7.0, [metrics names have been changed](https://github.com/coredns/coredns/blob/master/notes/coredns-1.7.0.md#metric-changes) which will be backward incompatible with existing reporting formulas that use the old metrics' names. Adjust your formulas to the new names before upgrading. 
  
  Kubeadm now includes CoreDNS version v1.7.0. Some of the major changes include:

- Promote Relaxed validation for Services names to beta (enabled by default)
  
  Promote `RelaxedServiceNameValidation` feature to beta (enabled by default)
  The  names of new Services names are validation with `NameIsDNSLabel()`,

- Shell completion now knows to continue suggesting resource names when the command supports it.  For example `kubectl get pod pod1 <TAB>` will suggest more Pod names. ([#105711](https://github.com/kubernetes/kubernetes/pull/105711), [@marckhouzam](https://github.com/marckhouzam))

**MockWebServer has a new coordinate and package name.** We didn’t like that our old artifact
depends on JUnit 4 so the new one doesn’t. It also has a better API built on immutable values. (We
intend to continue publishing the old `okhttp3.mockwebserver` artifact so there’s no urgency to
migrate.)

`cluster/saltbase/salt/kube-dns`, i.e. `cluster/saltbase/salt/kube-dns/{skydns-rc.yaml.base,skydns-rc.yaml.in}`, either substitute one of `__PILLAR__FEDERATIONS__DOMAIN__MAP__` or `{{ pillar['federations_domain_map'] }}` with the corresponding federation name to domain name value or remove them if you do not support cluster federation at this time.
