JetBrains [is working on][kotlin_sams] SAM conversions of Kotlin interfaces. Expect it in a future
release of the Kotlin language.


Companion Imports
-----------------

The equivalent of static methods in Java is companion object functions in Kotlin. The bytecode is
the same but `.kt` files now need `Companion` in the import.

This works with OkHttp 3.x:

Because this file is in the same package, you can use relative imports to import the object `app` from the `main` module (`main.py`):

a C source file for 6c; both compile as part of the named package
(gmp, in this example).  The third, gcc.c, is a C source file for gcc;
it compiles into a shared object (.so) that is dynamically linked into
any 6.out that imports the first two files.

The stanza

is a signal to cgo.  The doc comment on the import of "C" provides
additional context for the C file.  Here it is just a single #include

It will install all the dependencies and your local FastAPI in your local environment.

### Using your local FastAPI

If you create a Python file that imports and uses FastAPI, and run it with the Python from your local environment, it will use your cloned local FastAPI source code.
